New York, October 25, 2019—Michéal Castaldo releases his 9th CD, “Christmas in Italy,” on Vital Records on November 1, 2019, to celebrate some of his favorite Christmas songs from his Extravergine CD and new songs sung in Italian, English, and Latin. The title draws attention and celebrates seasonal favorites, including “Oh Santa Notte (Oh Holy Night),” “E Nato Il Bambino Gesu (What Child Is This?),” “Batte Nel Cuore, Suona Natale (Little Drummer Boy),” “Gioia Nel Mondo (Joy To The World),” “Puoi Sentire Quel’ Che Sent Io? (Do You hear What I Hear?),” “Astro del Ciel (Silent Night).” Castaldo also translated the well-known Polish carol, “Jezus Malusuenki,” now entitled, “Piccolo Jesu.” Completing the perfect package, Castaldo also offers up “Gloria in Excelsis Deo,” “Tu Scendi Dalle Stelle,” “Va Pensiero,” “Adeste Fideles,” and his latest release, Christmas carol, “Mary, Did You Know? (Maria, Lo Sapevi Tu?).”
Castaldo, an Italian tenor, producer, and songwriter who sings in the style of Andrea Bocelli, is honoring his favorite seasonal, sacred, liturgical carols performed as only Micheal Castaldo can deliver, creating a 100+ minute digital playlist of music to enjoy.

Italian born and now New York City resident, Castaldo is an award-winning Italian tenor whose rich operatic voice, strong but soft, is perfect in pitch and tempo and always on key. Castaldo, who studied music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, has toured North America and Europe, including performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Rainbow Room, Shea Stadium, Toronto’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Italy’s Teatro F. Cilea, and the Pescara Opera House. His passionate performances consistently thrill audiences with sweeping romanticism.
